Island Cruises and Weddings

Island Weddings are the most private. We have many islands in Clearwater Harbor, St. Joseph’s Sound, Anclote Bay and the surrounding area for your special get away wedding.

Whether there’s only two people or 50 people a wedding on a small deserted island is a treat for everyone and a very easy and safe trip.

Our deck boat is like sitting on the dock. The water is calm, the ride easy and the trip short. No one will ever get sick on this boat.
It’s smooth and the bay is quiet.

We’ll take you to a small island with a beach all the way around. The islands were began when the channel for boats was dug through the shallow waters of the bay.

This formed the Intercoastal Waterway from Canada all the way along the east coast around the state of Florida,
and around the gulf coast to Mexico.

A boater can go from Canada to Mexico and even beyond without getting into the open water for more than just a few miles. The sand from this digging, called dredging, was piled along the way as the dredge moved forward to dig the channel. The sand was just a more shallow area when it was first put there as late as 1954.

After many years the currents and tides caused the sand to build on the island, plants and even trees grew on the islands. The Islands became a tropical paradise for visitors and boaters. You can visit these islands with us. We’ll show you a natural part of Florida that few people see. You can have your wedding on the best island for the day. You can also visit other islands, Just ask your captain for his advice. Our 31 foot deck boat the Happy Dolphin is best for the islands.

The Gulf waters are also great for sailing. Our 37 foot Racing Sloop the Zippi Da Do is a classic design. It’s a sailor’s boat built for competition but now refitted for day cruises and coastal sailing.

A day of cruising the bay, visiting different
islands, shelling, snorkeling, swimming
and sunning is a special day that you
will always remember even if
it’s not for your wedding.

Call today, speak to Capt John at 727 678 – 3734
Ask any questions. Even if he’s on one of the
boats, he’ll take time to talk with you.
